Nothing Going On...

Image
I've been waiting to blog until something great happened. But, nothing great has happened. And, I don't think anything great is going to be happening anytime soon. So, I just thought I'd let everyone know what currently keeps me busy...or not busy. Ha ha. Bryson and I go to Chandler Fashion Square about every other day just to kill time and get out of the house. We literally live like 30 seconds from the mall. I love it. We play in the little kids play area and usually buy Paradise Bakery cookies. I've had my nose in a book for the past week or so. I've read Twilight, New Moon, and now I'm on Eclipse. They are really good books. I'm enjoying them. This is where I spend most of my time....curled up on the most comfortable couch in the whole world {snuggled in my Scooby Doo blanket}. I'm getting to the point {in my pregnancy} where it's hard to get up and move around. I've been doing a ton of laundry. And, I've decided that I actually like...

Build-a-Bear

Image
We took Bryson to build-a-bear. He had so much fun. He got to push on the pedal that filled up the bear with cotton. He thought that was pretty cool. Then, he washed his bear. Then, he picked out an outfit to put on him. Of course, once he saw the spiderman costume, he wanted nothing else. After we dressed the bear he just sat and hugged it. Priceless! It turned out very cute. He also wanted his bear to have a little quitar. Lol. He couldn't wait to play with it. After we paid for it he sat down to enjoy it. This is him walking happily out of the store. He kept saying. I love my spiderman bear. It was worth all the money. Here's his bear with out his mask. He's so cute and fluffy.

Another Hospital Visit for Pete

Image
Here he is chillin' on his hospital bed . Here is his {pinky} toe after it was snapped back into place. Yesterday morning Pete was trying to be nice and let me sleep in. So, when Bryson woke up at 7:15 he crept out of the bedroom to go hang out with Bryson in the living room. He walked over to a switch on the wall to turn the fan off because it was cold. He then turned to walk over to the couch and ran right into our love seat. His toe hit the bottom part that's made of wood. He fell to the ground in pain. I thought he was laughing at first. I thought him and Bryson were having a good time. But, then Pete starting screaming and Bryson started crying. So, I jumped out of bed to see what was going on. Pete was in pain on the floor. And, Bryson was curled up on the couch, scared to death. He didn't know what was wrong with his dad. Pete told me what happened. I checked his toe out and it didn't look good. His pinky toe was facing out to the side, rather than forward. I kn...

My Niece Abby

Image
I took this picture of my niece Abby a few days ago. I thought it was too cute to keep all to myself. She's the cutest little girl!

We're Finally Legal!

Image
After I posted about my cars troubles{ a while back}, my friend Shelly told me how to reset the check engine light. So, I tried it a few weeks ago. And, it worked! Thanks Shelly! I took my car to the emissions place yesterday and PASSED! Here's the proof... A cop was driving behind me as I left the emissions place and I wasn't worried. It was a nice feeling! If I got pulled over, I had the proof with me...and I was prepared to display it proudly. But, I didn't need it, the cop turned at the light. I was a little sad. I kind of wanted him to pull me over so that I could show him, I wanted to show somebody! I drove straight to my dads house and registered the car online. It feels SO nice being legal. Whenever I get into my car I still think....."Ohh no, I hope I don't run into any cops." Then, I remind myself, "You don't have to worry about that anymore dear, you're legal!" And a big smile appears on my face. Happy days, happy days.

Wells Fargo and I Aren't Friends!

Image
So, today I offically decided I HATE Wells Fargo! Some how we ended up $5.13 short in our account between 3 tiny little purchases. So, they charged us THREE NSF fee's! That's a whopping $102.00...just for being short 5 bucks! I was so mad. I felt robbed....and still do. What a waste of money! I could have boughten so much stuff for a hundred dollars! The stupid thing was that we had cash we couldn't have put into the account if we would have realized what happened last night before midnight. I'm so mad at myself. From now on we're going to be checking our account every night before bed. Needless to say, Pete has fired me from being the financial planner for the family.

Ramblings of a Pregnant Lady

This weekend has been interesting. My whole family went to Utah to see the blessings of my two nephews. I was sad that I had to miss out. But, with Pete's new job we didn't think we could swing it. I just hate missing out on a good party. Instead, I got stuck kitty sitting. My mom had noplace else for her little kittens to go. I really didn't want to take them but felt bad and did it anyway. THEY ARE SO ANNOYING!! I'm ready to kills them {not literally}. They cry all the time, they are dirty, they pooped all over my new carpet, the keep scratching me, they keep following me around the house, etc.. Needless to say, I'll be happy to hand them back over tonight. Yesterday I was bored all day. Pete was gone for a few hours longer than he normally is. Saturdays they start selling earlier. Those extra few hours make a big difference {to me}. It seemed like he was gone forever. When he got home I wanted to get out of the house. But, he wanted to sit and relax {he'd be...

The Shirt Says It All

Image
I've been taking a ton of pictures lately. I get the itch every now and again. I thought this one turned out so cute. He was wearing the perfect shirt. Ha ha.

The Secret

Image
Has anyone read this book? If not, you should. Pete said it's changed his life. His new job is challenging. But, this book has helped him stay positive and make lots of sales {and lots of money-yeah!}. It talkes about sending out positive energy. It says that if you send out a positive thought then it will come back to you. It's really cool. Everyone should read it. We got it at Target for like $15.00. Pick yourself up a copy. Seriously, you'll love it.

A Rocket!

Image
Today we were outside playing and Bryson looked up and saw that an airplane was leaving behind a stream of clouds. He kept pointing and shouting, "A ROCKET, A ROCKET!" I happened to capture the great look of shock on his face. I love those big blue eyes!

New Vs. Old

Image
We're finally in our new apartment. It's SO much better then our last {you'll see}. Pete and I were talking last night and decided we never really felt at home at our last apartment. It felt like we were living in somone else's house. If you'll look at the picture below you'll see it has has two doors. The owner of the place lived on the right side of the black mailboxes and we lived on the left side of the mailboxes. The owner would wake up at like 5:30 in the morning and mow his lawn, plant flowers, talk to neighbors, ect. He'd wake us up early several times a week. It was really annoying. It made it feel like it was his space and we were invading upon it. Here, we feel lke it's our place. We feel like normal human being again. It's such a nice feeling. We're all so happy. Bryson loves having his own room. Yesterday he said to my sister, "I have a new room, new toys, new trucks, and whatever I want!" It was so funny. He thinks all of ...

Sorry..

Sorry it's been so long since I posted. I've been busy packing, moving, cleaning, and organizing. We're in our new place now and pretty much settled in. I TOTALLY love it. I feel like a real mother and wife again. I can have a clean house {never felt clean in our other place}, do the laundry, cook in a nice big area, etc. It's awesome. I'll be posting pictures hopefully tonight. I had to switch my cable and internet over and they told me it should be working tonight by 7. So, I'm hoping it is. Stay tuned!

Boy in a Box

Image
Yesterday my dad brought me over some boxes so I could start packing. Bryson was helping us take them out of the car. He put this one on the sidewalk and climbed in. It was so cute. He then asked Grandpa if he would carry him. So, Grandpa did. Bryson is inside the box. Here's him popping out once he was planted safely on the couch. He was pretty happy about the ride. Him and grandpa played on the couch for like half an hour together. They had a lot of fun. Too cute!

I Feel Like a Woman Again!

Image
My hair has literally been driving me crazy for months now. I looked gross every time I did it. So, I haven't been doing my hair. Well, I got tired of pony tails everyday. So, yesterday I had my BFF Hilarie cut it. She's an awesome hairstylists. She did a great job as always. I finally feel like a woman again. Thank you Hilarie! Front view. Back view.

I'm Moving....Twice!

Image
Well, I have some crazy but exciting news. Pete has decided to switch jobs. He's going to be working for Pinnacle Security. He'll basically be going door to door selling security systems. It sounds lame, I know. But, there is so much money to be made doing it. The cool part is that the company puts you into an apartment and pays for it {and the utilities}. So, it's an awesome deal. We found out yesterday that we'll be moving on Monday! I can't believe how fast it's all happening. We'll be moving to Chandler. They are really nice apartments. It's a two bedroom, which I'm SO excited about! We've been in a one bedroom for so long it's going to be weird having the extra space. The move is coming at a good time because I REALLY didn't want to have 4 people living in a one bedroom place. It's going to stink packing up a house while I'm pregnant though, but it will be worth it. I'll have a washer and dryer! YEAH! The craziest part of...

Bored Out of My Mind

Image
So, Friday night around midnight our cable decided to stop working. I never knew how much I watched it or how much I loved it...until it was gone! I really miss this contraption {below}. {DVR Machine} I called cox right after the cable went out and they couldn't get a technician out to my house until WEDNESDAY. I'm going CRAZY! I'm so bored. And, I still have to wait 2 more days! I'm dying here. And, Besides all that...I have nothing good to blog about now that I have a lot of time to do it. Grrr.

Greatest Invention Ever!

Image
I ran out of this Mary Kay Oil-free Make-up Remover a few months ago. I finally called Daniele, my totally awesome Consultant, and ordered some more. I should have done it a long time ago. I forgot hom much I'm in LOVE with the stuff. I can sit on my couch and take my mascara off in a minute or less instead of standing over a sink for 20 minutes trying to get all the black off my face and out of my eyes. This truly is the greatest invention ever!

Internet Troubles

Sorry I haven't posted much lately. We've been having internet troubles. We've had wireless internet hooked up though our landlords DSL service. It kept messing up and loosing connection. I tried to fix it, but it didn't want to be fixed. I tried everything. My internet wouldn't work at all for a few days. Yesterday I was really frustrated about it. So, I called Cox and oredered my own stinkin' high speed internet service. I should have done this a long time ago! It's $5.00 cheaper than I pay my landlord, and I don't get any interupted service. I love it. I decided to hook up the cable myself {with a little self help kit and modem they gave me}. It took me a few hours, because of computer location problems, but we're up and running good now. So, I'll be posting again. Yeah!

Kittens anyone? Going once, going twice....

Image
Funny story. My brother Rusty was sleeping one night. He was awoken by a loud noise under his bed. He turned on the light to investigate. He was suprised to be staring into the eyes of a stray cat. He woke up my mom and told her about it. She went into his room to see. When they walked back in, the cat was walking into his closet. They opened his closet door wider and were VERY suprised to find baby kittens curled up in the corner. They have no idea how they got in there. The kittens looked like they were about a week old. My brother let them stay in his room. But, everyone kept going in there to look at them. I think the mamma cat got nervous. So, she moved them into my moms closet. One day the momma cat pooped in my moms closet. It was then that the mamma cat was kicked out of the house {with durastic measures}. Unfortunetly for my mom, the cat took it as a permanent thing. She hasn't come back. It's been over a week. So, my mom is now the proud mother of two kittens. She has...
