I'm Moving....Twice!

Well, I have some crazy but exciting news. Pete has decided to switch jobs. He's going to be working for Pinnacle Security. He'll basically be going door to door selling security systems. It sounds lame, I know. But, there is so much money to be made doing it. The cool part is that the company puts you into an apartment and pays for it {and the utilities}. So, it's an awesome deal. We found out yesterday that we'll be moving on Monday! I can't believe how fast it's all happening. We'll be moving to Chandler. They are really nice apartments. It's a two bedroom, which I'm SO excited about! We've been in a one bedroom for so long it's going to be weird having the extra space. The move is coming at a good time because I REALLY didn't want to have 4 people living in a one bedroom place. It's going to stink packing up a house while I'm pregnant though, but it will be worth it. I'll have a washer and dryer! YEAH! The craziest part of this all is that in April we'll be moving again, with the company. We'll be moving to this place... VIRGINIA BEACH!!!!
CRAZY, huh? I'm SO excited. I've always wanted to go live somewhere cool. I can't believe it's actually going to happen. It's too hot to go door to door here in the summer so the company sends the guys to cooler places. They pay for your housing at your new location too. It's so amazing. The good news is that we'll only be in Virginia from April until August and then we'll move back here. So, we're going to have a crazy time in the next 6 months {new job, holidays, 2 moves, birth of a child, etc.} I'm excited for the change though. I was needing a change.

  2. That is so so great. One bad thing about summer in Virgina--humidity. Good thing you'll be living on the beach! Wow, you can actually go on fun day trips to other states and church history sites and what-all.

Congrats to Pete on his new job!

Wow! That's so exciting! Congrats on the new job and that will be so fun to move around and get to experience something new! Piece of advice... since you're moving so much, only box and take what you need, basic kitchen and decor and all... put everything else in storage. Having just finished moving I can't tell you how much stuff we got rid of to DI. Congrats again!

  13. So I'm commenting on all of your old posts...I don't even know if you'll see them...Anyway-I had to say that I found your post about pete's job comforting. I am so glad that my husband and I are not the only ones who are Adventerous and NOT doing the conventional, go to school, get a life time job, stay in one place forever THING!(well...jake has been going to school, & will have his worthless degree in May, but he's not even going to use it!) We want to have a bit of fun before the kids get too old, live a few different places. But, sometimes I feel silly talking about our plans because I think people are thinking "are you insane!" A lot of Mesa folk NEVER want to leave, so thanks for posting, Made me feel a bit more sane:)p.s You are such a positive, go with the flow type of gal, Pete is lucky to have you!
