Thanks Everyone!

Image
Thanks for all your love and support everyone! I'll let you know if you can ever do anything for me {since most of you offered}. I'm sure I'm going to need lots of help. I love you all!

This may come as a shock to some

The inevitable finally happened. I'm getting divorced. Yes, you read that right. DIVORCED! I'm doing this {refer to picture below} to my family. I've been wanting to do it for 4 1/2 years. I was in the SLC Temple for my brothers wedding {in the very same room I was married in}. I prayed and asked Heavenly Father what I should do. And, He told me to go. He told me to RUN, actually! I got conformation of it 3 times. So, I know this is the right thing to do. Weird that my marriage began and ended in the same room. So, I'm going to need lot's of friends right now. It's starting to hit me. We just got back from Utah tonight. And, when we pulled up, Pete was here waiting to take the kids to "his house". It was so weird! I'm sitting here not quite knowing what to do next. I have nothing. I'm starting from scratch. It feels like I just got out of High School {except that I have 2 kids this time around}. I need to move out of my house by the 30th {3 da...

Did I tell you?

Image
Did I ever tell you that I went to Utah? I don't think I did. Well, I'm in Utah everyone. I've had a lot of fun. I took pictures for two families in Provo. Hung out with a long time friend, who I love to death {I'll disclose the name later}. And, then today my little brother got MARRIED! I got to take all the wedding pictures. It was a lot of fun. Man, wedding pictures are so different then family pictures. I think I like family pictures better. I love interacting with all the little kids. They say the funniest stuff to me. It's great. I have much more to post about my trip. But, I want to show pictures to go with them. So, I'll wait. See ya in a few days. Try not to miss me too much :)

I'm a photog genius!

Image
Yesterday I opened my front door and found a big package. I was like, "What is this? I didn't order anything." Then, I read the box. It was from Jones Soda. I was like," What the...?!" So, I opened it and here is what I found: 12 bottles all like this {rootbeer flavored}. I knew I had entered a photo contest with Jones Soda. You had to give them a picture that had to do with BBQ's. So, I gave them this one. So, I thought, "Hey, maybe I won." Then, I looked at the back of the label, and sure enough, I won! If you can't read it, it says: Put some shrimp on the barbie 'cus your a photog genius! Congratulations, Kaylea! How cool, huh? I really didn't think it was that great of a picture. It was just a snapshot. But, hey, if they want to call me a photog genius, I'll take it! Bryson is VERY proud that he's on the bottle. He wants to show everyone. He thinks he made them. He told Pete that they made them together. Ha ha!

New Pet

Image
I found this rollie pollie {as I called them growing up} bug outside. I showed Brsyon and told him they were my favorite bugs as a kid. So, then he took a big interest in it. He wanted to know if he could pet it. I told him he could. Then, he wanted to hold it. And, finally, he wanted to keep it {as a pet}. I said, "Sure, it can be your pet." So, he's living in a little box inside the house now. Bryson says he's going to take him everywhere. We have to leave for church soon. I hope he doesn't plan on taking him to church with us. Ha ha.

Thank you hurricane!

Thanks to this: we get this guy back! Welcome home daddy. We missed you!

Cat Cage

Image
My cat as been a little bugger since the day I brought her home. I was wanting to give her away because she'd always bother me when I was trying to have peace and quiet {when my kids are sleeping}. But then I found my solution. I found this cage in front of my neighbors house. I asked them if I could have it and they said yes. So, now I just lock the kitty away when she bugging me. Bryson seems to love it more then the cat. He's always getting in and out of it. He even lays down in it. It's pretty funny. If someone ever came over while he was in it, they'd think I was locking my kids up! That would not be good! Maybe I shouldn't let him play with it, huh?

Pictures for Daddy

Image
Here's pictures of Broday just being cute {with those big blue eyes of his}. Bryson built a "Beaver Church" in the with the wood chips at the park. He didn't like the help he was getting from his brother. Yesterday Grandpa Hunt pushed the boys on the swings for a long time. They loved it. Bryson said he was flying just like the real Batman. You're missin' out on a lot of fun, Daddy!

Letters to Daddy

Image
Daddy, where are you? I can't seem to find you. I've crawled all over. I don't know how much longer I can keep it up. My knees are starting to get rug burn. Since I can't find you, I thought I'd just tell you what I did today. Mommy made cookies {as she called them}. They looked delicious. I kept begging her for a little taste. She didn't want to at first. She kept moving them away from me. It was making me really angry! Mom forgot she moved them and.... she sat right on them!! Ha ha ha ha. It was so funny! You should have been here. Bryson sure wasn't happy! But, mommy and I laughed. Her butt was covered in chocolate. Ha ha. Once they were squished mommy decided to let me have a try, since they were all mush anyway. I'm so mad at you. Why didn't you tell me about these before?? You were holding out on me. These so called cookies are the best things ever! Mom wasn't feeding them to me fast enough, so I had to start feeding myself. I was taking h...

Letters to Daddy

Image
Dear Daddy, I'm having a hard time adjusting to you being gone. The first night I didn't want to go to bed without you. I wanted to hold you hand as I fell asleep. But, I settled for mommies. The next day, I rode my bike down to the park with Ryan. I made it all the way there without help. I got a little tired riding it home though because I played so much at the park. Mommy took pictures of Brodey while I played. Isn't he cute? Don't you miss kissing him, Daddy? Today we slept in and mommy missed her workout class. She's so silly. When we were dressed and ready we went to Ryans's house for a playgroup. I played outside in the sandbox. Ryan got really messy. His mommy said he needed a bath. So... I went and turned on the hose and hosed him down. I'm such a smart thinker. Ryan's mommy then turned on me and sprayed me down. I had a lot of fun. When I got inside I was really cold so mommy wrapped me in a towel and held me. Then, I watched Toy Story 2 ag...

Photography Class

Image
BTW, did I tell you that I'm taking an online Photography Class? Well, I sooo am. And it's amazing! I'm learning SO much. As you can tell from my last photography post...I'm so much better at editing now. I'm lovin' every minute of editing now. Last night in my free time, I also went to school :) I love that I can do it in the comfort of my own home.

Not so bad afterall...

Image
So, being home with out a hubby wasn't so bad. I had both kids in bed by 8:00 {which never used to happen}. Which gave me SIX HOURS to myself {my bedtime is always 2 AM}. I was in heaven! I had no distractions so I was able to edit pictures until my little heart was content. Then, I got to lay around on the couch {this is not my couch...I only wish mine was that clean} And watch TWO episodes of Greys Anatomy. It was the best night ever! From now on...8:00 bedtime it is! AND....for the FIRST time EVER Brodey slept through the night {a whole 12 hours} without a single feeding. So, I got a whole 6 hours of sleep. That's the most I've gotten in forever. Let's just hope tonight goes as well as last night:)

What am I going to do all alone??

Image
Tomorrow my husband is moving away from us for two months. He's decided to go back to work for the alarm company he used to work for. Right now the office he's signed up with is in Texas. So, that's where he is going. So, I'm going to be going at it alone her for a while. I'm a little bit excited. And, a little bit nervous. And, a little bit freaked out. It's just hard to imagine that I'm going to be the only person taking care of all of the kids needs/wants for two whole months. I will never get a break. Wow, I hope I can handle it. The good news is that my friend across the street is in the same situation as me {her hubby is in missouri doing the same thing}. So, we're going to be hanging out all the time. And, we may even sleep at each others house's so we don't get scared at night. So, wish me luck! And, if you see me and I'm missing half of my hair, you'll know why. Ha ha!

Blue and red lights

Image
Last night I got pulled over. Yes, I looked in my rear view mirror and saw the dreaded red and blue lights. And, I got big time busted. I guess my registration {tags} expired in July. I had no idea. And I guess I didn't have insurance. So, after all was said and done. I got fines totalling $1500.00. YIKES! So, of course, the rest of my night was ruined. I hate tickets!

Visiting Teaching

We had a visiting teaching workshop at my ward yesterday. We watched this video. It was SO freakin' hilarious and so inspiring all at the same time. Watch it! It's so good. And don't forget to go down and pause my music player so you can hear it. After they showed this I felt all guilty because my partner and I just dropped of treats at our ladies houses a few days ago. Ha ha. Watching this video makes me want to be a better visiting teacher.
