We knew our day was about to start off bad when we heard our phone ring 4 times in a row at 7 AM {everyone knows we're not up by that hour}this morning. On the fifth attempt, we finally were awake enough to answer the phone. It was Pete's brother telling us that his dad had a heart attach in the middle of the night. We were both really shocked. They put something up one of his big veins going up to his heart and found a clot. They removed it and said he should be okay. But, we wanted to be sure so we went down to the hospital as soon as we got ready. His dad looked pretty good. He was laughing and making jokes as usual. We stayed a few hours and then came home because they kids started to get naughty. Pete didn't want to go to church when we got home because he said he doesn't want to see anyone or talk to anyone. He's pretty shook up about it. He just told me he's really depressed. I feel so bad. I think he thinks his dad is going to die because his mom died of...

My brother went on Craigslist to sell a surround sound system. A guy from out of state wanted to buy it. So, the guy sent him a check in the mail and told him a truck would come and pick it up. The day before the check arrived in the mail my brother got an e-mail from the guy asking him if he was an honest person. He then went on to tell my brother that he had confused two purchases and had sent my brother a check for $2300.00 instead of $200.00. He told my brother to cash the check when he got it and then keep his portion for the speakers and then an extra $100 to cover the trouble of having to go to the bank and post office. Then he told him to put the rest of the money into a travelers check and mail it to his accountant in another state. So, my brother did that. A few days later he checked his bank account and he was negative $2000.00. He called the bank and the bank said that the check he brought it was a fraud check and so they couldn't give him the $2000.00. But, my brother...

On the way up to Heber we had to stop and take a picture of this. It's SO funny just because my husbands name is Pete. And, NO...we didn't go in :)

After one of my recent photos shoots the family I did it for said that all their family up in Heber loved the pictures and wants me to take their pictures too. So, they asked if I'd go up and do it. Of course I was totally up for it. Free little mini vacation, no kids, AND I get to take pictures? How did I luck out? So, I'm leaving tomorrow for my first out of town shoot. I'm so excited. I'll be back Wednesday night. And I'll have 3 awesome family shoots to put on my photography blog when I get back. How exciting! Awwww, pine trees. Can't wait! Will I need a jacket?

My friend Hilarie finally had her baby! They named her Lacy. She was 6 lbs 2 oz and was 20 inches long. Congratulations girl! They have been home for a few days. But, Hilarie called me today and said they have to take Lacy back to the hospital. They thought she was getting jaundice (SP?) so they took her to the doctor this morning. The doctor took a blood sample to test her jaundice levels. The doctor called her a few hours later and said the levels were too high and that they needed to take her back to the hospital and let her sleep under a heat lamp for a day or so. Hilarie was pretty bummed. I hope everything goes well for them. I love ya girl, good luck! Here is Lacy. She looks just like Ryan! Too Cute!

My dad was driving by a lemonade stand so he stopped and bought a few glasses. After he paid the little boy who was running the stand the little boy gave my dad his business card. It says: Lemonade on the Go $.10 a glass Cool and Refreshing Located on the corner of 24th st and Intrepid Open Wednesday, Saturday, and some other days from 2:00-6:30 PM. How cute, huh? We all got a kick out of it. So, if you're ever around that area during his business hours, stop and get yourself a glass :)

I took this picture of them yesterday at the park. I couldn't believe that I got them both to smile at the same time! It was priceless! They look so much a like. Except Bryson got daddies dark skin and Brodey got my ghostly white skin! Poor kid!

Funny conversation between Bryson and I last night: Me: On Sunday it's going to be Fathers Day. It's kind of like Mothers Day, but we celebrate fathers this time. Bryson: {thinking} Bryson: How come there's no little boys day? Me: {laughing out loud} Me: I don't know. That's a good question. Bryson: There should be a kids day! Me: ohh yeah? What day do you want it to be? Bryson: Tomorrow SO, HAPPY KIDS DAY EVERYONE!

Yesterday, after we got home from the ward activity, I took Bryson's swim suit off. I noticed that he had gotten tanner just from being outside today. So, I said, "WOW, you got tan today. You're skin is SO dark!" Bryson's reply was, "WHAT?? You mean I'm turning into the DARK Spiderman?" After I finished laughing my head off. I replied,"Yes, I guess you are!" He said back, "Wow, I didn't know I could do that!" It was SO funny. Here's his transformation: Good VS Bad Ha ha!

Our ward had a water day at the park. It was a lot of fun. The big attraction was the huge slip-n-slide. The little kids were too little to enjoy this so they got to play in little kiddy pools...which they loved. Here's Bryson enjoying himself

We got a notice from the HOA that we had to pull our weeds. So, I went out and pulled weeds for 2 1/2 hours today. It was so lame. I decided that I hate weeds. I got 3 water blisters on my hand from the tool I was using to pull them up with. How annoying.

I've always watched The Bachelor. But, this is my first time watching The Bachelorette. I have to say....I LOVE IT! It's so fun to watch the boys be tortured for once. I can't wait to watch it tonight! This guy Jason, who's a single dad, is my favorite. I hope he wins. They would look SO cute together. Who do you want to win?
