SAD!

We knew our day was about to start off bad when we heard our phone ring 4 times in a row at 7 AM {everyone knows we're not up by that hour}this morning. On the fifth attempt, we finally were awake enough to answer the phone. It was Pete's brother telling us that his dad had a heart attach in the middle of the night. We were both really shocked. They put something up one of his big veins going up to his heart and found a clot. They removed it and said he should be okay. But, we wanted to be sure so we went down to the hospital as soon as we got ready. His dad looked pretty good. He was laughing and making jokes as usual. We stayed a few hours and then came home because they kids started to get naughty. Pete didn't want to go to church when we got home because he said he doesn't want to see anyone or talk to anyone. He's pretty shook up about it. He just told me he's really depressed. I feel so bad. I think he thinks his dad is going to die because his mom died of a heart attack a little over a year ago. I don't know what to do for him. Anyone have any experience with this or have any suggestions?

    I am so sorry to hear that. I hope that he is ok. It was Kristen who was saying that. :) I'm sure you didn't jinx yourself...just bad timing!

    thats horrible news. I am so very sorry to hear that. i dont know what you can do. maybe just be extra nice for him for a while. And comfort him when he needs it.

    That is so sad! I'm sorry. I honestly tried to either comment or email you at least 10 times but Craig has been so helpful that everytime I get on the computer he turns it off!:) Smart little kid! I hope that things are better now for Pete's dad, and Pete.

Bryson's Store

We didn't have Family Home Evening last night, so we had it tonight. We made a little store for Bryson to sell candy from {it was his idea this morning}. He was in HEAVEN! Dad brought boxes home from work, bought candy on the way home, then came home and we all made it together. The huggies box is his cash register. And, we used fake money from one of our board games. We'd give Bryson the fake money and then he'd give us some candy. It was SO funny. He kept saying, "This is a fun activity!" {He picked this saying up from grandpa!} Here's the front of his store. Here's the back view of his store. Here's daddy buying his candy. When Bryson thought we had boughten enough candy, he told me to take his spot so he could buy some candy. He's not stupid! Break Dancer

We went to a wedding on Thursday night. It was a Argentine wedding so they had a ton of music and dancing. Bryson was in heaven. We couldn't get him off the dance floor! I recorded this video off of my phone so the quality isn't very good {because of the low lighing in the place}. But, hopefully, you'll still get the idea. Everyone was break dancing inside a circle. I could tell Bryson wanted to go out on the floor so bad. So, I told him to go do it. And he did. That part is at the very beginning of the video. Then, he went out and danced with everyone else. He had some good moves. I couldn't get too much on video because people kept walking in front of me. But, this should be enough to make you laugh .

Bryson's Girlfriend

Bryson has a little girlfriend at church. They are so cute together {they even look alike}. They stick up for each other in nursery. If a child picks up a toy that Bryson had been playing with, she takes it away from them and tells them it's Bryson's. She is also his first kiss. You go boy!Her dad told us that last sunday she was excited to go to church. She said, "I get to see Bryson today. He's so hansome!" This morning Bryson told me that he loved her, and that they were going to get married in the temple, and give kisses and love. Too cute. We always have to let them play together after church is over because we can't seperate them. So, us parents just stand there and laugh at them. Yesterday they had a fun during their "play time". The were splashing each other with water from the drinking fountain. It was pretty funny. We hope they'll really get married. We'll have to keep in touch with her parents. Ha ha.
