Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July. Here's what I did for mine this year {and what I do every year}. My whole family goes to MCC.We go pretty early so we can sit in the exact same spot. We let the kids play on the rides and bouncers. Then, we eat a BBQ picinic. We had some yummy salads...

And, we also order this meat from a restaurant for the occassion. It's yummy!

This is what Bryson picked out to wear for the occassion. It was so funny. We parked at Target so he trotted all the way down Southern Ave like this. It was awesome. BTW, his horses name is ROCKET!

Before the fireworks start this awesome group called Zero Gravity performs. They are amazing. They do all these tricks in the air. You'd have to see it to believe what they do. When I have a girl, I'm signing her up for this!

I missed the shot after this, but he actually lets go with his right hand and the girl just balances on her one hand on his forehead. It's crazy!




And, here's how Brodey watched his first fireworks. He pretty much winced and covered his ears the whole time. I think he has an ear infection so the noise was hurting his ears.

And, for an added bonus the weather was SOOOO nice. There was a nice cold breeze and everything. It was amazing!
I love the 4th of July!

    sounds and looks like so much fun. We didnt do anything spectacular at all. we sat at home watched the baseball game and watched fireworks on tv. It was sooo nice. Coltin has extremely sensitive ears and last year i took him to the fireworks and we ended up sitting in the car to watch them.

    Looks like such a fun day with your family! Ryan had to work, so it was pretty lowkey for us.

    I love the new haircut......so cute! I miss cutting my hair short sometimes :)

    Sounds like good times. That's awesome that it was cooler. We didn't do much but try to beat the crowds to the top of the hill to watch the grand show of 15 min. of fireworks. The effort here is really pretty pathetic. It takes longer to find a spot to watch then it does to watch them.

    It was freakish how nice the weather was that night. Awesome! I thought you were growing your hair out? I like it short though, it's cute. And yes, we are selling our car, the Durango. I bought a minivan a month ago and haven't sold it yet. Trent wants $3800 but I'm much more lenient! I just want it gone! We need to make an appt for pics when the weather is a little nicer.

Bryson's Store

We didn't have Family Home Evening last night, so we had it tonight. We made a little store for Bryson to sell candy from {it was his idea this morning}. He was in HEAVEN! Dad brought boxes home from work, bought candy on the way home, then came home and we all made it together. The huggies box is his cash register. And, we used fake money from one of our board games. We'd give Bryson the fake money and then he'd give us some candy. It was SO funny. He kept saying, "This is a fun activity!" {He picked this saying up from grandpa!} Here's the front of his store. Here's the back view of his store. Here's daddy buying his candy. When Bryson thought we had boughten enough candy, he told me to take his spot so he could buy some candy. He's not stupid! Here's a video clip of one of daddy's transactions with Bryson. It's so funny....you have to watch it!

Break Dancer

We went to a wedding on Thursday night. It was a Argentine wedding so they had a ton of music and dancing. Bryson was in heaven. We couldn't get him off the dance floor! I recorded this video off of my phone so the quality isn't very good {because of the low lighing in the place}. But, hopefully, you'll still get the idea. Everyone was break dancing inside a circle. I could tell Bryson wanted to go out on the floor so bad. So, I told him to go do it. And he did. That part is at the very beginning of the video. Then, he went out and danced with everyone else. He had some good moves. I couldn't get too much on video because people kept walking in front of me. But, this should be enough to make you laugh .

Bryson's Girlfriend

Bryson has a little girlfriend at church. They are so cute together {they even look alike}. They stick up for each other in nursery. If a child picks up a toy that Bryson had been playing with, she takes it away from them and tells them it's Bryson's. She is also his first kiss. You go boy!Her dad told us that last sunday she was excited to go to church. She said, "I get to see Bryson today. He's so hansome!" This morning Bryson told me that he loved her, and that they were going to get married in the temple, and give kisses and love. Too cute. We always have to let them play together after church is over because we can't seperate them. So, us parents just stand there and laugh at them. Yesterday they had a fun during their "play time". The were splashing each other with water from the drinking fountain. It was pretty funny. We hope they'll really get married. We'll have to keep in touch with her parents. Ha ha.
