World's Greatest Pie

My sister Lana got me hooked on this amazing pie. She first discovered it at Burger King for $1.30 per slice. My sister and I would go and buy one every couple of days. And, every now and again {if I was having a bad day} I'd treat myself to two in one day. So, we starting thinking...."I wonder if they sell this as a whole pie anywhere else so we don't have to keep coming back to BK." So, I decided to look it up on the internet last night. I just typed "Hershey's Sundae Pie" on google. Low and behold, all the sites that came up and were all talking about how Burger King makes these pies and everyone was wondering the same thing as Lana and I {where can we get this pie!} I'm going to quote some of the comments I came across:

• "I love this pie. I would be willing to sell my kids (if i had any), for this pie. If anyone does find a recipe please share with us all. SOOOO ADDICTIVE!!!!MMMMMM"

• "I agree, somebody from BK, please "leak" the receipe out!!! Very good!!!!!"

• "I tried this pie last Tuesday morning as an after breakfast treat. Wow!! What a treat! I haven't been able to get it off of my mind. So this morning, I purchased 7, yes, s-e-v-e-n for myself. Where can we purchase an entire pie or least get the recipe? Please help!!!"

• "I eat one or two a day....mmmmmm...employee discount =D"

• "oh my goodness!! I'm currently trying to diet and it's pure torture going by a BK!!! These things are absolutely dee-lish!! "

• "It's almost better than you know what!! It just keeps you wanting more! Just wish they'd give up the recipe!! It's the best!!"

• "It is stuff like this that makes living worthwhile. Kudos to the person who gave this to the world !!!"

• "This pie has changed my life. I owe it all to the pie."

Seriously.....those are all real comments from people! I was so glad to find others who were just as addicted to them as me. So, if you haven't tried it, you gotta treat yourself to one...or maybe two :).

So, while I was reading last night someone said that you could buy the whole pie at Wal-mart. A company called Edwards makes it. So, Lana and I went to Wal-mart a little while ago and totally found it. We were both so excited. We were dancing around the store.

We brought it home and unthawed it. We were a little dissappointed. It didn't taste quite as good as the BK ones. It had a teeny bit different flavor, but it was still delish. I suggest you try the one at BK first before buying the whole pie. Either way, you gotta try it. Like someone said, "This pie has changed my life. I owe it all to the pie!"
