Bored Out of My Mind

So, Friday night around midnight our cable decided to stop working. I never knew how much I watched it or how much I loved it...until it was gone!

I really miss this contraption {below}.

I called cox right after the cable went out and they couldn't get a technician out to my house until WEDNESDAY. I'm going CRAZY! I'm so bored. And, I still have to wait 2 more days! I'm dying here. And, Besides all that...I have nothing good to blog about now that I have a lot of time to do it. Grrr.

    Oh my gosh, I know what you mean. Since we just built our house, we were without DISH for a whole week! Boringest week of my life!!

    You should go to my blog and click on my friend Caroline. She just had to get rid of her DVR because they have to save money for Grad school.

    So, she's (kind of) in you boat.

    When we got DVR I realized it was one of those things that would be so very, very hard to live without once you had it for awhile. Like a microwave. or a dishwasher.

    Thats such a bummer. big time. I knwo what it's like to not have something like that. Do something crafty around your house. that would be fun. Hey thanks for the uplifting coment on my blog about how you can see me being a nutritionist/personal trainer and kicking butt. I told Bo last night that i wanted to go to school/or even online classes and he was like "no, you're not going to do that" (Nice supportive hubby, huh?)we had fun at golfland too. We'll have to go again next week, and maybe make it a weekly tradition in the winter

    Hey you!! sorry about the TV, that's a booger! I know all about boredom, though. I spent 2 months without TV, internet, OR a telephone back when we first moved into our house. I won't lie, it was pretty lame. I watched every movie we own at LEAST twice.

    I'd love to get together! Have you been out to this new mall at Greenfield and the 202 (the 202 that is supah far South, not the NORMAL 202.) Its a pretty stinkin' cool mall - outdoors like Kierland Commons in Scottsdale - only w/out Barbies walking around everywhere making you feel bad about yourself. We should meet up there and let the kids play while we eat a Pretzel.

    I have to go to my inlaws on Wednesday and I have a hair appt. Thursday. So, Friday during the day or Monday during the day would work best for me. I go home Tuesday :(

Bryson's Store

We didn't have Family Home Evening last night, so we had it tonight. We made a little store for Bryson to sell candy from {it was his idea this morning}. He was in HEAVEN! Dad brought boxes home from work, bought candy on the way home, then came home and we all made it together. The huggies box is his cash register. And, we used fake money from one of our board games. We'd give Bryson the fake money and then he'd give us some candy. It was SO funny. He kept saying, "This is a fun activity!" {He picked this saying up from grandpa!} Here's the front of his store. Here's the back view of his store. Here's daddy buying his candy. When Bryson thought we had boughten enough candy, he told me to take his spot so he could buy some candy. He's not stupid! Break Dancer

We went to a wedding on Thursday night. It was a Argentine wedding so they had a ton of music and dancing. Bryson was in heaven. We couldn't get him off the dance floor! I recorded this video off of my phone so the quality isn't very good {because of the low lighing in the place}. But, hopefully, you'll still get the idea. Everyone was break dancing inside a circle. I could tell Bryson wanted to go out on the floor so bad. So, I told him to go do it. And he did. That part is at the very beginning of the video. Then, he went out and danced with everyone else. He had some good moves. I couldn't get too much on video because people kept walking in front of me. But, this should be enough to make you laugh .

Bryson's Girlfriend

Bryson has a little girlfriend at church. They are so cute together {they even look alike}. They stick up for each other in nursery. If a child picks up a toy that Bryson had been playing with, she takes it away from them and tells them it's Bryson's. She is also his first kiss. You go boy!Her dad told us that last sunday she was excited to go to church. She said, "I get to see Bryson today. He's so hansome!" This morning Bryson told me that he loved her, and that they were going to get married in the temple, and give kisses and love. Too cute. We always have to let them play together after church is over because we can't seperate them. So, us parents just stand there and laugh at them. Yesterday they had a fun during their "play time". The were splashing each other with water from the drinking fountain. It was pretty funny. We hope they'll really get married. We'll have to keep in touch with her parents. Ha ha.
