Letters to Daddy

Daddy, where are you?
I can't seem to find you.
I've crawled all over. I don't know how much longer I can keep it up. My knees are starting to get rug burn.
Since I can't find you, I thought I'd just tell you what I did today. Mommy made cookies {as she called them}. They looked delicious. I kept begging her for a little taste. She didn't want to at first. She kept moving them away from me. It was making me really angry! Mom forgot she moved them and....
she sat right on them!! Ha ha ha ha. It was so funny! You should have been here. Bryson sure wasn't happy! But, mommy and I laughed. Her butt was covered in chocolate. Ha ha.

Once they were squished mommy decided to let me have a try, since they were all mush anyway. I'm so mad at you. Why didn't you tell me about these before?? You were holding out on me. These so called cookies are the best things ever! Mom wasn't feeding them to me fast enough, so I had to start feeding myself. I was taking handfuls at a time. I just couldn't get enough of them. If you had started feeding me this a long time ago I would have eaten solid foods sooner.

Then, mommy turned her back for one minute. When she came back she found me like this. Bryson was torturing me AGAIN! I looked at mom like, "Help me!" She didn't right away though. She starting laughing....which of course made Bryson throw more clothes on me. Why is my brother so silly?


Well, I'm going to bed in a few minutes. I'm very tired. Did you hear that I'm finally sleeping through the night? It sure makes mom happy. If I had known this, I would have started doing it sooner. A little heads up would have been nice. I hope I see you tomorrow. I love you.

    i'm finding that bein' a single-ish mom while dad's away is challenging, but brings y'all closer together! glad you have your cute boyz to keep ya company!

Bryson's Store

We didn't have Family Home Evening last night, so we had it tonight. We made a little store for Bryson to sell candy from {it was his idea this morning}. He was in HEAVEN! Dad brought boxes home from work, bought candy on the way home, then came home and we all made it together. The huggies box is his cash register. And, we used fake money from one of our board games. We'd give Bryson the fake money and then he'd give us some candy. It was SO funny. He kept saying, "This is a fun activity!" {He picked this saying up from grandpa!} Here's the front of his store. Here's the back view of his store. Here's daddy buying his candy. When Bryson thought we had boughten enough candy, he told me to take his spot so he could buy some candy. He's not stupid! Break Dancer

We went to a wedding on Thursday night. It was a Argentine wedding so they had a ton of music and dancing. Bryson was in heaven. We couldn't get him off the dance floor! I recorded this video off of my phone so the quality isn't very good {because of the low lighing in the place}. But, hopefully, you'll still get the idea. Everyone was break dancing inside a circle. I could tell Bryson wanted to go out on the floor so bad. So, I told him to go do it. And he did. That part is at the very beginning of the video. Then, he went out and danced with everyone else. He had some good moves. I couldn't get too much on video because people kept walking in front of me. But, this should be enough to make you laugh .

Sk8ter Boy

Bryson has been asking for a skateboard for some time. So, today we finally bought him one. He's so excited about it. It's fun watching him figure out how to work it. He said,"Mom, this is how you pick it up." Then, he stepped on one end so that it popped up the other end. He grabbed the end that was in the air, and then took a bow. It was so funny.
