How the big day went...

Pete was supposed to work all day but he suprised me and got it off. That was awesome. I wasn't looking forward to spending my birthday without him there. We hung around the house all morning and then in the afternono we went to my parents house.

Here's the cake we ate at my parents house. It was yummy. Thank you mom and dad!

Have you ever seen Alvin and the chipmunks? My sister Lana and I went one night and it was actually really funny. For christmas the chipmunks gave Alvin a card, his own wallet, and a compass made out of paper and a paperclip. So, my sister gave me all of those things. It was freakin' hilarious! Here is me with my own wallet. You'd have to see the movie to appreciate it. Ha ha.


My brothers soon-to-be sister-in-law gave me this really cute shirt and also a really cute undershirt. I'm wearing it today. Thank you Katcha.
And my soon-to-be sister-in-law gave me this lotion from Bath and Body Works. It's chocolate scented. It smells so good. Thank you Fabriza!

Then, we went to my in-laws house and we had another cake there. It was really yummy.

They gave me this really cool scrapbook organizer. Thank you! I love it.

Bryson's Store

We didn't have Family Home Evening last night, so we had it tonight. We made a little store for Bryson to sell candy from {it was his idea this morning}. He was in HEAVEN! Dad brought boxes home from work, bought candy on the way home, then came home and we all made it together. The huggies box is his cash register. And, we used fake money from one of our board games. We'd give Bryson the fake money and then he'd give us some candy. It was SO funny. He kept saying, "This is a fun activity!" {He picked this saying up from grandpa!} Here's the front of his store. Here's the back view of his store. Here's daddy buying his candy. When Bryson thought we had boughten enough candy, he told me to take his spot so he could buy some candy. He's not stupid! Break Dancer

We went to a wedding on Thursday night. It was a Argentine wedding so they had a ton of music and dancing. Bryson was in heaven. We couldn't get him off the dance floor! I recorded this video off of my phone so the quality isn't very good {because of the low lighing in the place}. But, hopefully, you'll still get the idea. Everyone was break dancing inside a circle. I could tell Bryson wanted to go out on the floor so bad. So, I told him to go do it. And he did. That part is at the very beginning of the video. Then, he went out and danced with everyone else. He had some good moves. I couldn't get too much on video because people kept walking in front of me. But, this should be enough to make you laugh .

Sk8ter Boy

Bryson has been asking for a skateboard for some time. So, today we finally bought him one. He's so excited about it. It's fun watching him figure out how to work it. He said,"Mom, this is how you pick it up." Then, he stepped on one end so that it popped up the other end. He grabbed the end that was in the air, and then took a bow. It was so funny.
