Moving Day! Yeah, It's finally here!

Well, the big day is here...again! MOVING DAY! We get to move in tomorrow {technically today, since it's 1:30 AM}. I can't wait to be living in a house!! And it will be so nice to be in our own space again. We appreciate my parents taking us in. I'm going to miss my sister Lana. We had a lot of fun together while I was here. I love you Lana! Well, wish me luck. I'm going to be a busy little bee for the next couple of days. It always takes a little while to get moved in, unpacked, and settled in. Hope I survive. I'm going to need to go get a massage when this week is over! That's what I'm asking for for my birthday present {which is this coming Sunday}. Troy....here I come! My birthday is on conference this year. This happens every couple of years. I hated it growing up because we didn't have a t.v. at our house {parents still don't} so we had to go down to the church building for every session on Saturday and Sunday. So, I'd spend half of my birt...

Today we got ready for Easter at my Mom and Dad's house. First, we colored boiled eggs . Then, we {stuffed} the plastic eggs. So, we're offically ready for tomorrows Easter Egg Hunt . I can't wait. Pink Eye Bomb

Image
So, my brother's fiance' is a nanny. She got pink eye from the kiddos she watches. My brother then got it from her and passed it onto everyone at my parents house. Of course, Brodey was the next one, after Rusty, to get it. Poor guy. He's only 7 weeks old and has already had a bad cold, 2 ear infections, and now pink eye. So, if you don't want Pink Eye you better stay away from any Hunt's/soon-to-be-Hunts/Patenge's.

Recipe for Hershey's Sundae Pie

I looked online and found the recipe for the BK pie I posted about in my last post. SO, those of you who don't want to buy it...can make it. Burger Kings Hershey Sundae Pie Layer 1:1 chocolate pie crust (store boughten) Layer 2: 8 ounces cream cheese, 3/4 cup powdered sugar, 8 ounces cool whip, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Whip cream cheese until softened. Blend in Powdered sugar, cool whip, and vanilla. Put on top of chocolate pie crust. Layer 3:1 large box chocolate pudding. Make pudding as directed, but minus 1/2 cup milk. Put on top of cream cheese mixture. Layer 4:Cool whip, chocolate curls, and chocolate chips. Put a layer of cool whip on top of the chocolate pudding layer. Then sprinkle the cool whip with chocolate curls and chocolate chips. Refrigerate. Enjoy!

World's Greatest Pie

Image
My sister Lana got me hooked on this amazing pie. She first discovered it at Burger King for $1.30 per slice. My sister and I would go and buy one every couple of days. And, every now and again {if I was having a bad day} I'd treat myself to two in one day. So, we starting thinking...."I wonder if they sell this as a whole pie anywhere else so we don't have to keep coming back to BK." So, I decided to look it up on the internet last night. I just typed "Hershey's Sundae Pie" on google. Low and behold, all the sites that came up and were all talking about how Burger King makes these pies and everyone was wondering the same thing as Lana and I {where can we get this pie!} I'm going to quote some of the comments I came across: "I love this pie. I would be willing to sell my kids (if i had any), for this pie. If anyone does find a recipe please share with us all. SOOOO ADDICTIVE!!!!MMMMMM" "I agree, somebody from BK, please "leak...

A Crazy Month

Image
Ever since Pete went to Guatamala things have been crazy for us. When Pete got home he was told he would get paid right away for 20 out of the 84 recruits. So, we were expecting $10,000.00 in our bank account. The day before it was to go into our account his regional manager called him and told him that he had spoken with his laywers and his laywers found out that they can't get visa's for the guys to come oner to the states for like 6 months to a year, if ever. So, they stopped the payment we were going to get and told Pete to get back to knocking doors. This didn't set well with us because we spend money for Pete to go down to Guatamala and Pete didn't earn money for several weeks before he left because he was getting everything in place to go. If it took his manager all of a day to find out they couldn't get Visa's then why didn't they find this information out before Pete went down there? His manager that went down there with him was scheduled to get $10...
