Closest Thing To Snow

So, I was sitting here blogging and I hear this loud noise on the window next to me. I look out the window and it's totally hailing! How crazy. I grabbed Bryson and my camera and ran out the front door to enjoy it. I don't remember the last time it hailed here. It was pretty exciting. Bryson didn't enjoy it as much as me. And, I'm sure Pete enjoyed it even less than Bryson. He's out knocking doors in it. Poor guy. I feel so bad for him. He's probably freezing his butt off. He wore shorts and didn't take a jacket with him. Crazy guy. Thanks for working through it for us honey. See all the white spots on the ground? It's amazing!
It's as close to snow as we can get. I'll take it. Ha ha!

    Minus ridiculous traffic, I am LOVING this winter-y weather. :) And I love the gingerbread houses!! I want to make that a tradition too...maybe when we have kids...you know. In the mean time I'm baking tomorrow. Maybe I'll take some time and up date my blog in the next week or so! I'm so behind.

    That's awesome! I love cold weather. It snowed here in Thatcher last year, but not till January.

    I love this weather! It didn't hail here but, it sure rained alot. We had to pull out our sweaters it's getting so cold. : )

    You've got a good camera! It takes such good pictures, I always think that.(ours stinks, you would never be able to see rain...plus jake dropped it in the sand with the lens open, that didn't help either...maybe next Christmas?!)

    isn't it crazy that the molecules can join to form water and THEN freeze instead of just freezing as they join into flakes?? AZ hail is one of those treasures I miss.

Bryson's Store

We didn't have Family Home Evening last night, so we had it tonight. We made a little store for Bryson to sell candy from {it was his idea this morning}. He was in HEAVEN! Dad brought boxes home from work, bought candy on the way home, then came home and we all made it together. The huggies box is his cash register. And, we used fake money from one of our board games. We'd give Bryson the fake money and then he'd give us some candy. It was SO funny. He kept saying, "This is a fun activity!" {He picked this saying up from grandpa!} Here's the front of his store. Here's the back view of his store. Here's daddy buying his candy. When Bryson thought we had boughten enough candy, he told me to take his spot so he could buy some candy. He's not stupid! Break Dancer

We went to a wedding on Thursday night. It was a Argentine wedding so they had a ton of music and dancing. Bryson was in heaven. We couldn't get him off the dance floor! I recorded this video off of my phone so the quality isn't very good {because of the low lighing in the place}. But, hopefully, you'll still get the idea. Everyone was break dancing inside a circle. I could tell Bryson wanted to go out on the floor so bad. So, I told him to go do it. And he did. That part is at the very beginning of the video. Then, he went out and danced with everyone else. He had some good moves. I couldn't get too much on video because people kept walking in front of me. But, this should be enough to make you laugh .

Sk8ter Boy

Bryson has been asking for a skateboard for some time. So, today we finally bought him one. He's so excited about it. It's fun watching him figure out how to work it. He said,"Mom, this is how you pick it up." Then, he stepped on one end so that it popped up the other end. He grabbed the end that was in the air, and then took a bow. It was so funny.
