The sickest stuff ever!

Today at my doctors appointment I had to do the dreaded deed. I had to drink this bottle of crap. I almost didn't get it all down. I wanted to throw up when I had like 1/4 of it left. For those of you who don't know...you have to drink this bottle of gross sugary stuff, wait an hour, and then have your blood drawn. They test your blood for a few different reasons. It's called a glucose test. It's not fun. I hate the drink and I hate having my blood taken. Glad it's over!

Anyone else hate this drink...or do you love the {supposedly fruit punch flavored} stuff?

    well, when i did my glucose test, it was orange, and it wasn't that bad. of course, you have to fast, so i was nausous as all heck, but other than that, i was ok...

    Yeah, I hate that stuff. But my tests always come back negative which I'm glad. I could never go off sugar.

    I had the orange kind too. I think it tasted like really sugary Orange Crush. Not too bad - other than the empty stomach/nausea thing. I always have to pull right into a drive-thru on my way home. I need SALT and PROTEIN like crazy after that.

    At least its over with, right?

    yuck! I hated that stuff too!! I never had the red kind...just the orange one. When I did it with Tyler, I passed out...haha. It was pretty emberassing but they were used to it...its where all the old people go lol. Glad everything went ok. hope you passed it =) the 3 hour one SUCKS!

    huh, I had to drink orange stuff. It tasted like super concentrated orange soda. I felt fine at first, but about 10 minutes after drinking it I wanted to throw up. Good job on getting it over with!

    Mine was orange both times too and I never felt sick and I kinda liked the taste! Yes, I'm weird!

    that drink wasnt so bad for me. I guess I can tolerate it. OBTW You need to update your life story yet again. It says that Bryson is 2 years old. hehe. Just thought Id let you know.

    I also had the orange stuff with all three of my kids. I hated having to chug it, I think that was the worst part and then the long wait, so boring.

Bryson's Store

We didn't have Family Home Evening last night, so we had it tonight. We made a little store for Bryson to sell candy from {it was his idea this morning}. He was in HEAVEN! Dad brought boxes home from work, bought candy on the way home, then came home and we all made it together. The huggies box is his cash register. And, we used fake money from one of our board games. We'd give Bryson the fake money and then he'd give us some candy. It was SO funny. He kept saying, "This is a fun activity!" {He picked this saying up from grandpa!} Here's the front of his store. Here's the back view of his store. Here's daddy buying his candy. When Bryson thought we had boughten enough candy, he told me to take his spot so he could buy some candy. He's not stupid! Break Dancer

We went to a wedding on Thursday night. It was a Argentine wedding so they had a ton of music and dancing. Bryson was in heaven. We couldn't get him off the dance floor! I recorded this video off of my phone so the quality isn't very good {because of the low lighing in the place}. But, hopefully, you'll still get the idea. Everyone was break dancing inside a circle. I could tell Bryson wanted to go out on the floor so bad. So, I told him to go do it. And he did. That part is at the very beginning of the video. Then, he went out and danced with everyone else. He had some good moves. I couldn't get too much on video because people kept walking in front of me. But, this should be enough to make you laugh .

Bryson's Girlfriend

Bryson has a little girlfriend at church. They are so cute together {they even look alike}. They stick up for each other in nursery. If a child picks up a toy that Bryson had been playing with, she takes it away from them and tells them it's Bryson's. She is also his first kiss. You go boy!Her dad told us that last sunday she was excited to go to church. She said, "I get to see Bryson today. He's so hansome!" This morning Bryson told me that he loved her, and that they were going to get married in the temple, and give kisses and love. Too cute. We always have to let them play together after church is over because we can't seperate them. So, us parents just stand there and laugh at them. Yesterday they had a fun during their "play time". The were splashing each other with water from the drinking fountain. It was pretty funny. We hope they'll really get married. We'll have to keep in touch with her parents. Ha ha.
