Potty Trained Spiderman!

We bought Spiderman for Bryson's Halloween costume. We thought we'd give it to him for his birthday {which is this coming Wednesday} because he's totally in love with spiderman right now. He saw us buy it though. So, he's been asking us if he can wear it. It's been hard to say no. Then, 3 days ago I had an ingenious idea. I told him I would let him wear it if he wore big boy underwear all day long. He must have wanted to wear spiderman pretty bad because my brib worked! He didn't have one accident in his pants. I let him wear spiderman for a few hours. He was in heaven. He was so cute in the costume. He totally poses just like him, jumps off of furniture trying to fly like him, and throws spider webs at me and stuff. He said that when he grows up and he's bigger he's going to fly really high like spiderman. Yesterday I kept up my same little trick. I put underwear on him and told him the same thing. It worked again. We even went to a store and he told me he had to go while we were at the store. I was so happy. I was really worried about going places with his underwear on. I thought he'd be scared to go on someone else's toilet. But, he did awesome. He even went #2 in the toilet {which was my next worry}. Today he's doing awesome too. I think I can finally say that my son is potty trained. WAHOO! I never thought this day would come. Everyone told me age 3 was the magic number, I think it is! His famous Spiderman pose.
I love this picture!

Look out for Spiderman!
BTW, those pink boots are his "Spiderman boots".

  4. We own pink boots because when I had this job {at a kids clothing store} I couldn't stop buying all the cute girls stuff...even though I didn't have a girl. I have a closet full of girls stuff. When we do have a girl she'll be the best dressed/cutest little thing.
