Girls ALL nighter!

My friend Hilarie just had a birthday. For her birthday she wanted to spend the night at a hotel with all her girlfriends. So, that's just what we did. We left behind husbands and babies.
She got this cool hotel that was like a little apartment. We had so much fun! Every girl should do this once a year.





Here's some of the girls. We had 10 total. Not all 10 spent the night. They couldn't be away from their babies all night. I sure could! I was so there! We ordered pizza, played games, chatted, laughed, danced on tables, watched a movie, and ate chocolate till we felt sick. It was SO much fun! We need to do this more often. It was nice to get a little break. We didn't get to bed until 4:00 AM. But, it was SO worth it. After we woke up we got ready and went to Denny's for breakfast. It was yummy. We laughed the whole time. It was so much fun. Thank you Hilarie!

    What a great birthday gift. I think I know what I am gonna ask for my birthday : ) That looks like fun!! I would of probably fell asleep at 10:00 but you know me. I just did this with my sister-in-laws a few months ago and it is so true we do need this more often it was a blast. You are such a party girl!!

    I LOVE THIS KIND OF THING!!! Only right now most of my friends here talk about doing it in future tense. How fun for you guys. I agree, every girl definitely needs a night away (paid vacation) every now and then.

    PS. When you see Jamie can you tell her I want an invite to see her blog? If thats not too weird.

    My sister has been going to a hotel for her birthday for like the last 5 years. That's such a good idea! I remember Hilary. I havn't seen her since we lived together! Good times!

    what a fun idea! i haven't done that in like 5 years!! by the way, i LOVED your closet full of smiles!! I think i have a picture of us in jr. high, but it's at my mom's house, but i will post it when i find it!!!

Bryson's Store

We didn't have Family Home Evening last night, so we had it tonight. We made a little store for Bryson to sell candy from {it was his idea this morning}. He was in HEAVEN! Dad brought boxes home from work, bought candy on the way home, then came home and we all made it together. The huggies box is his cash register. And, we used fake money from one of our board games. We'd give Bryson the fake money and then he'd give us some candy. It was SO funny. He kept saying, "This is a fun activity!" {He picked this saying up from grandpa!} Here's the front of his store. Here's the back view of his store. Here's daddy buying his candy. When Bryson thought we had boughten enough candy, he told me to take his spot so he could buy some candy. He's not stupid! Break Dancer

We went to a wedding on Thursday night. It was a Argentine wedding so they had a ton of music and dancing. Bryson was in heaven. We couldn't get him off the dance floor! I recorded this video off of my phone so the quality isn't very good {because of the low lighing in the place}. But, hopefully, you'll still get the idea. Everyone was break dancing inside a circle. I could tell Bryson wanted to go out on the floor so bad. So, I told him to go do it. And he did. That part is at the very beginning of the video. Then, he went out and danced with everyone else. He had some good moves. I couldn't get too much on video because people kept walking in front of me. But, this should be enough to make you laugh .

Sk8ter Boy

Bryson has been asking for a skateboard for some time. So, today we finally bought him one. He's so excited about it. It's fun watching him figure out how to work it. He said,"Mom, this is how you pick it up." Then, he stepped on one end so that it popped up the other end. He grabbed the end that was in the air, and then took a bow. It was so funny.
