Pink Boots?!


I'm starting to get a little worried about my son. First he wanted to wear a purse....now, he wants to wear pink boots! He's so silly. Pete said he's not worried yet. He said if he's 14 and doing these same things, then he'll worry.

    Coltin scares me sometimes too. He used to really be in to helping me put my makeup on. This is just a phase that Bryson is going through. Call me this week and we can hang out.

    My question is how did he get pink boots? Trent would have had a cow if I let our boys wear them. So I do it when he's not home. Besides, your son is way macho. And he does punch hard!

    Jordan used to do that too...Chad hated it so much! When my sisters babysat a few months ago, they dressed up the girls and put a Snow White dress and makeup on Jordan!! When we got home, Jordan was like "The girls MADE me dress like a girl and put on makeup." I'll have to put the pics on my blog. (And make sure Chad doesn't see them out in public! He'd kill me!)

Bryson's Store

We didn't have Family Home Evening last night, so we had it tonight. We made a little store for Bryson to sell candy from {it was his idea this morning}. He was in HEAVEN! Dad brought boxes home from work, bought candy on the way home, then came home and we all made it together. The huggies box is his cash register. And, we used fake money from one of our board games. We'd give Bryson the fake money and then he'd give us some candy. It was SO funny. He kept saying, "This is a fun activity!" {He picked this saying up from grandpa!} Here's the front of his store. Here's the back view of his store. Here's daddy buying his candy. When Bryson thought we had boughten enough candy, he told me to take his spot so he could buy some candy. He's not stupid! Break Dancer

We went to a wedding on Thursday night. It was a Argentine wedding so they had a ton of music and dancing. Bryson was in heaven. We couldn't get him off the dance floor! I recorded this video off of my phone so the quality isn't very good {because of the low lighing in the place}. But, hopefully, you'll still get the idea. Everyone was break dancing inside a circle. I could tell Bryson wanted to go out on the floor so bad. So, I told him to go do it. And he did. That part is at the very beginning of the video. Then, he went out and danced with everyone else. He had some good moves. I couldn't get too much on video because people kept walking in front of me. But, this should be enough to make you laugh .

Sk8ter Boy

Bryson has been asking for a skateboard for some time. So, today we finally bought him one. He's so excited about it. It's fun watching him figure out how to work it. He said,"Mom, this is how you pick it up." Then, he stepped on one end so that it popped up the other end. He grabbed the end that was in the air, and then took a bow. It was so funny.
