After reading my blog Pete wanted to clarify. Here are his words: Just for the record...the punch that broke my nose did not put me down. In fact, I wasn't knocked down at all. Neither was he. I lost by decision after 3 rounds.
No broken nose will keep you down! Go Pete! Good luck with the surgery! I guess it's not a good month for anyone! 3 out of 4 of my kids are undergoing some kind of medical treatment this month! Yikes!
Kaylea! I'm so glad you found me on here! It looks like you guys are doing well! (well, except for the broken nose). I think the last time I saw you was at Tamara's wedding reception and you were still pregnant with your first. Bryson is quite the handsome boy, I love his smile! I didn't know your husband is a boxer, Josh loves that kind of stuff. He always watches Ultimate Fighting and things like that. Too bad we don't live close by, our husbands could "fight" each other! Well, your link is now on my site so I'll be "stalking" your blog now to see what's going on with you guys!
Well hey Kaylea, How the heck are ya? It was great to see your messsage on my blog. Your little Bryson is so adorable. I was cracking up at your story about him taking that ring. What a funny experiance. That's classic that you have pictures of it. He will love those when he gets older. I can't believe your husband boxes, that's so bad! I bet you feel so safe around him. I can't wait to hear from you again. Love Lots, Cassie
We didn't have Family Home Evening last night, so we had it tonight. We made a little store for Bryson to sell candy from {it was his idea this morning}. He was in HEAVEN! Dad brought boxes home from work, bought candy on the way home, then came home and we all made it together. The huggies box is his cash register. And, we used fake money from one of our board games. We'd give Bryson the fake money and then he'd give us some candy. It was SO funny. He kept saying, "This is a fun activity!" {He picked this saying up from grandpa!} Here's the front of his store. Here's the back view of his store. Here's daddy buying his candy. When Bryson thought we had boughten enough candy, he told me to take his spot so he could buy some candy. He's not stupid! Here's a video clip of one of daddy's transactions with Bryson. It's so funny....you have to watch it!
We went to a wedding on Thursday night. It was a Argentine wedding so they had a ton of music and dancing. Bryson was in heaven. We couldn't get him off the dance floor! I recorded this video off of my phone so the quality isn't very good {because of the low lighing in the place}. But, hopefully, you'll still get the idea. Everyone was break dancing inside a circle. I could tell Bryson wanted to go out on the floor so bad. So, I told him to go do it. And he did. That part is at the very beginning of the video. Then, he went out and danced with everyone else. He had some good moves. I couldn't get too much on video because people kept walking in front of me. But, this should be enough to make you laugh .
Bryson has been asking for a skateboard for some time. So, today we finally bought him one. He's so excited about it. It's fun watching him figure out how to work it. He said,"Mom, this is how you pick it up." Then, he stepped on one end so that it popped up the other end. He grabbed the end that was in the air, and then took a bow. It was so funny.
