We didn't have Family Home Evening last night, so we had it tonight. We made a little store for Bryson to sell candy from {it was his idea this morning}. He was in HEAVEN! Dad brought boxes home from work, bought candy on the way home, then came home and we all made it together. The huggies box is his cash register. And, we used fake money from one of our board games. We'd give Bryson the fake money and then he'd give us some candy. It was SO funny. He kept saying, "This is a fun activity!" {He picked this saying up from grandpa!} Here's the front of his store. Here's the back view of his store. Here's daddy buying his candy. When Bryson thought we had boughten enough candy, he told me to take his spot so he could buy some candy. He's not stupid! I told my dad a few days ago that I wanted shelves in my kitchen because I have no space to store any food. He jumped right on it. Yesterday he picked Bryson and I up and we headed to Home Depot. We picked out some wood that we liked and then we had it cut into 4 pieces. It was too loud for Bryson so he plugged his ears as he watched. Then, he helped grandpa push the cart out to the car and load it up. We went to a family party and then afterwards grandpa came over to our house and installed the shelves. Bryson had to be right in the action. He was trying to be helpul but he was really just slowing grandpa down I'm sure. Bryson was very excited about the shelves when they were done. So was I! I have SO much space for food and pans now. I love it! I should have done this FOREVER ago. It makes such a difference. Thank you dad! I LOVE IT!
What a cute little helper. That is totally what my kids do. Always in Daddys way when he is working on a project. I love the pantry. Your dad did a great job.
