Dreams do come true!

Image
My neighbor came over the other day and said she had found all this camera equiptment. She said she was going to put it in her garage sale but then she thought of me. So, she offered it to me for free. She had this old old film camera from Vietnam. It was awesome. I can't wait to buy film and play around with it. There was also this: The very flash I've been needing! Dreams do come try! I'm so happy!

I Voted

Image
I voted last night. And, it felt so good to mark these two boxes! The only bad thing about voting at home is you don't get a sticker! I remember when my parents used to go to vote, and they'd come home with stickers on their shirts, I was so jealous. I couldn't wait to vote just so I could get a cool sticker. But, I don't think I've gotten one yet. Ha ha.

The Fun Age

Brodey is getting to that fun age where he's starting to do things. The other day I was clapping and singing a tune. He totally started clapping along with me. It was so cute! Watch the video and see for yourself. Again, it's sideways. I guess I'll have to have it look sideways on my phone in order for it to look right on the computer.

Swinging Machine

Bryson LOVES swinging. Me and my dad spent a lot of time outside having to push him. Well, yesterday he finally leaned how to pump himself the right way. He's been trying for a while. I was so proud of him. Now we can just sit and watch him swing, instead of have to stand there. Yeah! I'm so happy. And so is he. BTW, sorry this video is sideways. I recorded it on my phone and on my phone it wasn't sideways.

Mischief Maker

Image
Brodey is starting to get into mischief. This is his latest stunt. He ate a blue marker. It was so funny. It was all over the side of his face, the front of his face, on the back of his head, and all over his hands. I just had to take him outside and take pictures of it. I love this kid!

Adorable Woody!

Here's one of the pictures I took and edited for my photography class. I just have to show you because I think it's so stinkin' cute! I'm learning SO much! I'm so glad I'm taking this class!

Bryson had a happy birthday!

Image
Bryson is SO excited to be 4. His dad took him for a few hours in the afternoon. Then, we had a party for him at Chuck E. Cheese's. It was a lot of fun! There was so much for him to do. Thanks to my sister Jackie for buying tokens. For Bryson's Birthday he got two bags of Rolos. A Mr. Potatoe Head filled with lots of Mr. Potatoe Heads and parts to attach to them. Thanks to K.C. and Celeste WOODY! He's been wanting this toy for a while. He hasn't set it down yet. I think this doll is so adorable. I want one for myself! Thanks to K.C. and Celeste {and part me}. Batmans car that ejects out a motorcycle too. Thanks Katcha. And E-Pet. I don't know if he's totally ready this yet. I think I had more fun with it this morning. Ha ha. Here's him loving his toys! I can't believe I have a 4 year old! Glad you had a good day, buddy! I love you!

Saved by the Bell

Image
Remember that big fat ticket I got a month or so ago? Well, I had to go to court yesterday to take care of it. I had to stand before a judge just like this. It was really scary! But, since I had proof of insurance and proof that I didn't own the vehicle anymore {did I ever tell you it got repoed cause Pete couldn't pay the payments?...Well, it did} I got the fines reduced to $150.00 instead of $1,500.00. I was saved by the bell. I was happy to pay $150. It felt like a blessing. But, I never want to go to court for a ticket again. There were SO many people there that I had to wait for 2 hours. It was such a waste of a day. Ha ha.

Birthday coming up

Image
On October 10th is Bryson's Birthday {this Friday}. I don't have any money to throw him a party or buy him any presents {except maybe one}. So, I was thinking..... maybe all of you could help me out. If I could just have a ton of friends at his party, maybe that would make him happy and make him feel less cheated. Bryson LOVES his friends and it would make his day to have them all there. Bryson has been telling me for like 8 months that he wantes his party at Chuck E Cheese's. So, I'm going to have the party there. But, I don't have any money for pizza or tokens. So, would people still be willing to show up there just to hang out and make Bryson feel like he's having his dream party? Or is that so lame? Let me know if you'd be up for coming. The more the merrier. Location: Chuck E. Cheese's 856 South Alma School Road Mesa AZ 85202 (480) 834-9322 Time: 5:30 - 7:00 PM

Who I got to hangout with in Utah

Image
I never did get to post about Utah. So, I'll post this one thing. While I was in Utah I got to hang out with my cute friend Heather. We went out all day on Wednesday and took pictures together. It was so fun! Here are a few pictures from our day! Thank you Heather for a fun time! I hope you're still trying out that Manual mode :) P.S. Heather, I edited this picture of you. Compare it to the original. Doesn't it look even cooler now? I shrank this one down for the web. But, if you want the edited version, let me know! I could e-mail it to you.
